It is reported that insufficient fineness of crushing, high content of fibrous or elastic drugs or oils and uneven mixing will lead to pine tablets. It can be overcome by crushing drugs through 100 mesh sieve, choosing adhesives with strong viscosity, properly increasing pressure of tablet press and fully mixing oil absorbents.
The inadequate use or improper selection of adhesives or wetting agents will result in loose texture or uneven distribution of coarse and fine particles, and stratification of coarse and fine particles. It can be overcome by choosing appropriate binder or increasing dosage, improving granulation process, Multi-stirring soft material, mixing and homogenizing granules, etc.
The excessively dried granules have greater elasticity, and the medicines containing crystalline water lose more crystalline water during the drying process, which makes the granules brittle and easy to crack. Therefore, water content of granules should be controlled according to different varieties in granulation. If the granules are too dry, a proper amount of dilute ethanol (50% - 60%) can be sprayed into the granules, then mixed and pressed.
According to the industry, pine tablets may also be related to the nature of the drug itself. For example, tablets with high density can not withstand collision and shaking although they have certain hardness; particles have poor fluidity and are not uniform in filling the die hole; or when there are large blocks or particles, debris blocking the scraper and the outlet, the filling amount will be affected.
In addition, the pressing machine will also affect the effect of the pressing. If the pressure is too small, the punch length of multi-punching machine is not uniform, the speed is too fast or the particles in the hopper are more or less. It can be overcome by adjusting the pressure, checking whether the die is complete, adjusting the speed of the car, and adding grains frequently to keep a certain stock in the hopper.
When a tablet is shaken or placed, it is called a lumbar fissure when it is split from the waist; when it is split from the top, it is called a crevicular fissure. Lumbar fissure and crevicular fissure are collectively called a crevicular fissure.
The drug itself has strong elasticity, fibrous drugs or more oil-containing components. Sugar powder can be added to reduce the elasticity of the fibers, strengthen the cohesion or increase the absorbent of oil drugs, and then fully mix and press the tablets.
The adhesive or wetting agent is inappropriate or insufficient, and the adhesive force of particles is poor when pressing tablets.
Excessive dryness of granules and loss of medicines containing crystalline water resulted in lobes, and the solution was the same as that of pine tablets.
Some crystalline drugs have not been sufficiently crushed. These drugs can be fully crushed and granulated.
When the pressure is relieved, the air inside the tablet expands to form a crack, which can be overcome by sieving off some fine powder and reducing the amount of lubricant appropriately.
It is reported that the pressure of the tablet press is too high, the rebound force is large and the cracks are large; the speed of the vehicle is too fast or the die does not meet the requirements, the length of the punch, the wear of the hole in the middle die, the middle of the die is larger than the upper and lower parts or the punch rolls inwards, all of which can cause the cracks when the tablet is ejected. It can adjust the pressure and speed, improve the matching of punching die, check and change in time.
